With the epidemic of coronavirus (Covid-19), the need for healthcare workers’ face visors increased rapidly. In this process, PAGDER Plastics Industrialists Association has implemented the “Health Visor” project and is guarding health workers working day and night to reduce the risk of contamination.
Within the scope of the project, plastic visors produced with the contributions of PAGDER pioneers and supporters will be provided to hospitals free of charge and the risk of exposure of high-health healthcare workers to the virus will be minimized.
What is Health Visor?
Health Visors, which can be used in any environment requiring face protection, prevents the splashing of foreign substances (virus, bacteria, etc.) to the face and provides full protection for the nose, mouth and eyes. The Anti-fog Health Visor provides users with a very clear view.
How are visors produced?
The visors to be produced within the scope of the project are made of plastic materials as in the rest of the world. In order to increase the production speed, injection and thermoform methods were determined instead of 3D printer. Thanks to the support of the plastic industry members, the pioneers of the project, the production molds were designed and prepared for processing quickly.
Thanks to the supporters who have allocated their own facilities for production, production costs have been reduced only to raw materials and energy costs.
Work is underway to increase production capacity to meet the needs of healthcare professionals.
How can I support the project?
You can support the project initiated by PAGDER with the support of 10,000 health visors in order to accelerate the production in these difficult days and to provide the necessary equipment to the healthcare workers as soon as possible.
