SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE
SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE
The rules regulating life limit our freedom and it is constantly discussed whether it is democratic or not. Although rules may seem annoying sometimes, they are indispensable for a sustainable world that regulates life. Even if we think for a moment that there are no rules, a great chaos and fear grips us.
Simple rules always work. For example, wait on red, prepare in yellow and green is the simplest and most effective of the late traffic rules. The simplest rule of the body is inhale and exhale. Although it seems very funny to say that I am against the rules, I will not breathe and I will not give, it is important enough to be taken seriously, resulting in the loss of our lives. Of course, we can count many more simple but effective rules.
Years and years ago, the lids of ayran, boza and similar bottles were tied to the bottles with a thin plastic strip with a very simple idea. Today, we can still see that in some bottles, the caps are attached to the bottles. However, when we see such bottles, the only thing that comes to our mind is that they create a retro atmosphere. However, this is a very, very important idea so that the cover does not separate from the body… why?
Let’s think about it… it doesn’t matter if it’s a glass or plastic bottle, it doesn’t matter if the cap is plastic or metal, whatever the product is, the cap will not be detached from the body. The bottles will be unscathed on one side and the caps on the other. It will be much easier to evaluate bottles and caps as waste. Of course, there is a very, very important criterion here, which is not to discriminate. If the idea of attaching caps to bottles is going to come into our lives as a rule or law, this rule or law should not only be for plastics, but for all bottles and caps. All bottles and containers, whatever their material, should be recycled and should not be found in the wild.
As always, no matter how many rules or laws are enacted, if some individuals use force like a tyrant to separate the cap from the bottle and throw it into the nature, these and what is done will of course be of partial benefit. As we mentioned above, although this law is only applied for plastics, it will not be beneficial or even harmful. Maybe the increase in the raw material used and the increase in the costs are not as logical as we think in the face of the total benefit? Of course, if plastic is left alone… If it is valid for all sectors, it will of course make sense in terms of total benefit.
Simple but effective is unquestionably teaching our children the truth. To a conscious individual who is a citizen of the world, you do not have to attach the cap to the bottle, nor do you have to say to throw plastics and metals into nature. Where are you, conscious individuals who are citizens of the world, where are you? Or are you trying to go to space? We have a lot more work to do in the world… How about starting with raising unconscious people’s awareness? We are here, are you? We know you exist too, because although there is another planet, there is no other world…
