Reducing our consumption is perhaps the simplest way to conserve natural resources and manage environmental pollution. Buying more than we need and wasting is actually the result of unconscious planning. Planning life is much easier than trying to control nature. Shopping without a reason, showing off the proof of wealth, aimlessly overflowing warehouses, the biggest disease of our consumption age as it will never end.
Of course, there is an end to consuming as well as everything else. When? As you can imagine, when all resources are exhausted, the beginning of the end will be ringing when we have no more power to produce. It is in our hands to prevent this extinction. Conserving our resources and consuming as much as necessary can provide us a more livable world, let alone stop this extinction, by regaining what we consume, respecting the ecosystem.
How about starting with very simple measures, very small steps? For example, although it may seem like a small step to rent instead of buying the materials we need once or several times, the effects will be enormous. Rental, deposit, barter are just a few of these methods.
For example, turning to returnable products in beverages will cause glass and plastic bottles to be used many times and to be brought back to the economy. Even calculating the maximum utility may not be very easy, it is certain that a considerable value will emerge. It will be very pleasing to turn to Barter. The products you do not use, you do not need can be changed by calculating the values of the different products you need, the products you produce but will take a place in your warehouse for many years and join the economy after years. In this way, a product that you do not need but that someone else needs a lot will not stop. The opposite is true for you, of course. Would you not be satisfied if a product value that you need but is idle in someone else is given to you?
Renting is perhaps the greatest. I would like to think about how much waste you will use once or a few times and especially if you rent multiple products on time or in quantity, and easily remove them from you when they meet your needs will prevent waste. Let's say you have an opening, a demonstration and you need thousands of glasses. Glass cups will be costly and logistics difficult. Storing glass glasses when your need is met is another problem. Let's say you buy cardboard or plastic cups. The cost will be low, the logistics will be very easy, let's say it is not a problem to store when your need is complete. What about idle or what resources are used for their production, will they just be shelved? You can rent these glasses instead of buying them. Globelet allows you to rent or buy reusable glasses and bottles for stadiums, offices and other venues. When the batch is over, return it to be washed and reused. You can take advantage of post-industrial and pre-consumer plastic products that are flawed and never fall into the hands of consumers. In the last 8 years, our biggest wish is that more than 21 million single-use plastics will increase in such initiatives that prevent them from entering landfills and being thrown into the nature around Australia and New Zealand.
