Now, It’s Campıng Tıme!
It is time for the camp, with the sun showing itself on the top and presenting the magical atmosphere of nature. The seasons that human beings embrace with nature and renew themselves are always transformed into positive energy. This positive energy should not be transformed into negative energy by choosing the wrong camping equipment and camp areas. We want to offer you some tips on how to choose camping grounds and camping facilities.
CAMPING EQUIPMENT LIST
Camping Bag: Very variable brands and prices are available according to the bag specifications. In long-term camps, bags 70 liters and above are recommended. On the other hand, 50 and 60-liter bags are recommended for short-term camps of 2 days. Bags which are made of waterproof plastic material or fabric, but plastic plastered and which are water and heat resistant will be a good choice for weight / ergonomics.
Tent: You can make a choice of camping tent by considering how many people you will go to, seasonal situations and how many days you will stay. Four-season tents can be ideal for general use as well as professional but more costly tents. What is important here is the plastic material that the tent is made of or the fact that the tent can control the heat and provide the best air flow. No one can relax in a water-tight tent and a very hot tent will ruin the camp.
Mat: The mats generally have standard lengths. After placing your tent on a suitable ground, you can also carefully put the mat into the tent. Foam or inflatable mats will be more suitable for your comfort.
Sleeping Bag: The choice of sleeping bag is very important for a healthy sleep and body temperature. If you don’t get a sleeping bag wrapping around your body, your body temperature will drop and the tent will sweat. Your sleeping bag should be made of cotton and not slip over the mat. At the same time sleeping in a sleeping bag with long-sleeved but thin clothes will increase your comfort.
Camping Knife or pocketknife: Different knives or pocketknives should be preferred for use in the kitchen and other jobs in the camp. You can choose to have a plastic handle for the hygiene and grip of your knives.
Camping Lamps: It is useful to have a lamp in the tent, a head lamp for walks and short jobs, powerful flashlights for intense work and distant vision. Remember that in the nature, vision is very important.
Tying Ropes: You should keep thin and thick ropes with different lengths and strengths with you without forgetting that the ropes are used as multifunctional in nature.
Hammock: Not only for children, but also for adults, you can have a hammock at the campsite, and it will be a pleasure to enjoy the hammock in an area where you can relax in the camp.
Foldable chair with armrest: Ergonomic, foldable chairs made of different plastic materials that you can both relax and work at every moment, and also place your cup in long conversations should be acquired according to the number of people with a minimum of 120 kg of durability.
Shovel: Getting a foldable shovel that can be used for the burning of the camp fire or in different small jobs will make things easier for you.
Flasks: You need to get flasks, which are generally made of heat resistant plastic material in different sizes, according to your preference.
Powerbank: Solar-powered powerbank should be used. You can opt for solar-powered powerbanks as you are unlikely to find electricity on the mountain or in nature.
Bags: You can choose normal bags to put your belongings and large size bags to put your garbage in. Remember, nature does not pollute itself, and nature will respect us as long as we respect nature.
Lighters, matches or magnesium sticks: It is one of the must-have camping equipment to light your campfire.
Torpedos or sound explosives: Can be used if wild animals are approaching you or present danger.
Sunscreen: Sun creams that are not expired should be available against burns.
Toilet paper: Since personal hygiene is important in the nature, too, there must be toilet paper for use in toilets.
Towel: Hand and face towels must be available for drying.
Camping teapot: Teapots, known as black teapots, are preferred for brewing your tea or heating your water.
Cookware: You should get a mini set that you can use to cook or to boil something.
Unbreakable cups: You should obtain plastic disposable or washable thick plastic cups in terms of hygiene and strength.
Forks, spoons and teaspoons: You must take the spoons, forks and teaspoons together with the spares to mix and stir your food and drinks.
CHOOSING A PLACE FOR CAMPING
If you are going to camp for the first time, you should prefer nearby places. Having a camp site as a nature camp will be useful if you need energy and first aid. The area of tents will increase your comfort if you are in a flat area where forest and sea meet. If the nearest settlement is at a maximum distance of 20 km to your camping area, it will be preferable. It should be well researched and should not be preferred for the areas of flood and landslide risk.
We advise you to fix your needs such as shower and toilet in portable plastic cabinets. In the absence of plastic portable cabins, we advise you to pay attention to hygiene. The location of the campsite in the sea, lake and forest triangle will make everything even more perfect. However, it should be remembered that adhering to the rules of nature and having a general knowledge of nature will make you and those around you safer. Injuries in camps are carelessness, not bad luck. Also, it is not the pollution on the compsites but the indifference of people.
