We Are The Ones To Blame
Many activities are restricted and precautions are taken for sustainability and protection of our planet. These restrictions and measures are actually just to restrain the human being. Of course, besides the rate, age also burns unfortunately.
Is plastic, which is said to harm nature and constantly emphasized negatively by certain masses, really guilty? Or are we the real culprits? If we say that the person who wrapped his cat in cling film and shared his photo was arrested, would we be answering this question?
A woman in Hong Kong was arrested on charges of cruelty to animals after she posted a photo on social media of her punishing her cat by wrapping it in plastic cling film, for allegedly not snuggling her in bed.
The photo shows the 6-week-old blue-eyed kitten being wrapped in multiple layers of cling film around her legs and chest. The 45-year-old owner of the cat was arrested at his apartment on Yuen Street in Mong Kok city, for allegedly punishing the cat by tying it up with cling film because he wasn't snuggled into the bed as his previous cat did.
The South China Morning Post headlined the woman saying, "I want to find a cat we can cuddle and sleep with. I bought a kitten because it would be easier to sleep with." "My previous cat used to pat my neck with her paws while she slept, but this time she doesn't, so I tied her up with plastic wrap." The manager of a commercial Facebook page for selling pets said the woman tried to sell the cat on this page because her boyfriend didn't like it. The manager reported to animal rescue organizations after sharing a photo of the female kitten. Officer So Wing-shun said that the kitten was not injured and was sent to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, where it will be cared for.
Some ignorant people cannot get their psychological problems out of both animals and nature. They don't have the right. People who behave like this should definitely be treated. When such behaviors are taken seriously and valued in societies, the real danger is at our door.
No one can tell us that cats are bad, plastics are bad, trees are bad, this is out of the question. We must look for the real criminals within ourselves and in our conscience. Man is the main source of many evils, but at the same time he is the owner of many noble behaviors. It would be to heal sick souls to live like human beings that suits us. It will not help to exclude them. Telling them that they are sick and helping them is the movement that will save the world.
