Would You Gıve Me Allowance?
Times are changing, lives are changing, the world is changing. Many things that have changed do not stand still and continue to change. There are many sentences that start with "our time too" and there are many stories to be told. From generation to generation, its pattern never changes in our time. One more thing that hasn't changed is pocket money.
No matter how technology and fast consumption change generations and accelerate the differences between generations, the concept of pocket money, which does not change in existence, remains standing. Until they create their own income model and maintain that income model in a stable manner, human beings demand money from their elders or those they see close to them under the name of pocket money and this never changes.
I think there is no one who does not know the classic phrases of fathers to ask for pocket money. Where is my wallet or bring my pants? These are the introductory sentences of pocket money. Well, have you ever thought about how this phrase changes when we grow up or when we create our income model? The question of where is the ATM is actually a sentence that changes the pattern of asking for pocket money that we do not realize.
ATM (short for Automated Teller Machine in English) is a distribution channel used by commercial banks. While previously it could only offer services such as money payment and statement printing, today it serves customers in many areas such as deposit, EFT, money order, bill payment and investment. The designer of the machine is Armenian Luther George Simciyan, born in the Ottoman Empire but a US citizen, and after a while it was out of use as it was not in demand in America in the 1930s. Later, the Englishman John Shepherd-Barron invented the fully electronic cash machine. The first device, which can be considered as an ATM, was produced by De La Rue company for Barclays Bank on 27 June 1967 and put into service in Enfield, London. In ATMs, where transactions can be made with plastic cards that have a magnetic tape on them, secure access is provided by requesting the password of the card from the user before starting the transactions. Over time, cardless transaction menus were also included in ATM devices. ATM device was first installed in Turkey in 1982 by Türkiye İş Bankası under the name of Bankamatik.
Today, plastic material is used in many parts of the design of cash machines, from the card slot to the screen frame. Plastic engineers continue to develop products in order to make the plastics used in ATMs stronger, longer-lasting and safer.
Cash machines, which are automatic fathers today, are musical machines that allow us to get a certain amount of pocket money quickly in every field at any time. After withdrawing money, they deserve a thank you.
