Our Way Is Long
There are some who drop their guard in the face of the problems they face and give up immediately. At the slightest problem, their world collapses on their heads, and they think that they have come to the end of the road. However, people who change our world, make our lives easier and more beautiful, choose to struggle instead of burying their heads in the sand like an ostrich when faced with problems, and find solutions to the best of their abilities, are truly the ones who leave their mark. Here is Indian professor Rajagopalan Vasudevan, one of those people who took the responsibility to change our world.
The Indian professor is in favor of treating plastic as a valuable material, not waste. Thanks to the technology it has developed, 10% of waste plastic can be used in asphalt road construction; moreover, this includes some plastic materials that are very difficult to recycle. Its application is also quite simple; The shredded plastic wastes are sprinkled on the sand and stone surface at 170 degrees, after forming a thin layer, bitumen is poured on it and it is ready for use. In addition to the fact that the application is very simple and has almost zero cost, there is another big plus of plastic roads. The plastic additive increases the flexibility of the surface and this causes the road to extend its life and become more durable. No pit formation has been observed so far at any point where the plastic roads are applied. The project was so successful that the Indian government made it mandatory to use plastic materials on roads built in areas above a certain population. Sounds great doesn't it?
Professor Rajagopalan is just one of the heroes who do not hesitate to take responsibility to change our world and increase sustainability. The existence of people who work for the benefit of humanity and do not seek self-interest while doing so should be hope for all of us and inspire us to leave better and cleaner tomorrows for future generations.
In fact, we try to include at least one success story in each of our articles and to tell you about the hidden plastic beauties of what is happening in the world. If we read many stories one after another that we touch but do not know, that we do not know, that we print but that we do not realize, if someone still has a problem with plastic, it is necessary to doubt their mental health or it is necessary to constantly tell them about plastic.
Success stories will not end in every field. Our effort to explain plastic correctly will not end. Future generations will know the value of plastic much, much more than we do. Those who close their doors for good is always doomed to lose. We recommend that you know the plastic well in order not to lose it.
